We just missed the news, in last month’s letter, that the Dew Tour is now coming to Copper. It formerly was in Breckenridge. This should be a big impact for us at Copper. February 6 – 9, 2020 are the dates. Copper has a two-year commitment to host this event, which will be an innovative contest series that brings together the world’s best snowboarders, skiers, artists, brands and fans. The village should be full for this event.
This fall was a beautiful one regarding the trees. I hope that you were able to experience the high county during this great time of year.
As we approach winter, there is a lot of activity in an attempt to conclude projects. On-going will be the new Solitude, the chapel hotel and the new buildings at the Resort entrance. A new parking area at the Chapel has been completed, hosting parking lines on the new asphalt.
The big news at the Resort recently is Copper Mountain’s notification to several homeowner associations, that effective January 1, they will no longer manage several community associations. We have been contacted by several associations seeking our involvement to fill this void. Effective at year end, we will see some changes.
The real estate market continues to be very active. Numerous offerings are available with changes taking place almost daily. Please contract our office regarding your specific needs and wants.
The new lift on Tucker Mountain is progressing well, according to the sources we have talked to. Known as the Three Bears Lift, this will add some accessible terrain that has been available to only those willing to hike to it.
The weather is changing and we look forward to winter. The snowstorm that occurred on Thursday was a wake-up call to all of us that outdoor projects need to be completed soon.
Very truly yours,
