May 9, 2019
It is hard to believe it is May already, but we are in between ski season and summer season when a lot is happening.
Cindy was out for a few weeks due to a bit of surgery and thus, we may be behind on certain items that she is responsible for. Please bear with us and we will catch up soon.
Copper is embarking on snow making expansion, construction of the ‘new’ Solitude Station, the installation of the new Tucker Mountain lift, clean up around the base of the two new lifts installed last year and many other smaller projects. The hotel developer for the new hotel in the Chapel Lot has broken ground. Scheduled for the May Ten Mile Planning Commission is the 44-unit affordable housing project at the entrance of the resort, scheduled to begin late summer.
In addition, many of the condominium buildings are preparing for upgrades of their buildings. The Union Creek Lift will provide access up the mountain this summer, as opposed to American Eagle, due to the construction of the new Solitude Station. June will be a bit quieter this year as the concert series and weekend events really do not kick in until July.
For our full rental program properties, we will be completing the required application process for all short-term rentals. The Resort Chamber has been very active through this entire process and the application for Copper properties certainly is made easier due to that effort. If you received the form for this sent out last month, be certain you return it to us. We need your signature on this form to be able to complete the process.
The time for completing off season improvements to your property is quite short. Please let us know what you are doing so we avoid conflicts with rentals.
Thank your for working with us.
