Dear Owner:


                It is hard to believe that we have just over one month remaining in this ski season.  Daylight savings time change is this Sunday and springtime is definitely here.   I skied yesterday and can attest that the mountain is in great condition and skiing is fantastic.


                As we approach the end of this season, we will embark on annual projects and ask that you respond to the enclosed regarding those projects and fill out your owner’s calendar for the next year.  We encourage you to block nights you plan to occupy your unit and, if your schedule changes, release those dates so that we can make them available for rental.


                The Copper Mountain Coaster project has been approved by the Forest Service and will begin construction as soon as the snow melts.   This should add a new dimension for guests visiting Copper to enjoy.  It is planned to be open this fall and will be available both summer and winter.


                At the Metro District the two new fire trucks have arrived and are in use.  The fire department personnel are extremely appreciative of the support exhibited by the taxpayers to fund the equipment they need to carry out their tasks.    The new well that was drilled in Farley Park will be connected to well house #2 this spring/summer.   To comply with the state mandate of August 1st, to have this alternative water source on line, the District is striving for a July 1 activation date.   The east village will experience some disruption this spring as the 9 foot deep trench is excavated from the well in Farley Park to the well house, accommodating piping to connect this well.  Everyone’s cooperation during this

construction will be appreciated.


                On the real estate front, our inventory continues to be around 30 active listings of full ownership

properties.  Several transactions have occurred with properties being on the market for only a few days and the sale of properties not actually listed have occurred.    If you are considering selling, contact us today to discuss our very active market.  If you are considering purchasing, properties are not lasting very long.


                We continue to have discussions with owners regarding offers that are being made by other management companies suggesting higher returns.   While I’ve not had information to compare our services to others, I urge your comparison to look at what is included in their fees.   I believe some companies charge extra for cleaning.   We appreciate our relationship with all of our owners and will continue to strive to make your ownership and rental management, working with Carbonate, a productive and long term relationship.  Thank you for working with us.
